The Flying Squirrels went 4-3 this week. They split their 4 game set at home with the division leading Altoona Curve and then took 2 on the road at Harrisburg before dropping the finale yesterday. Daryl Maday improved to 5-0 this season with a solid 7 inning performance on Friday. Giants prospect Clay Timpner continues to pace the team offensively. He is currently sporting a .459 BA.

The Richmond Revolution continued their tear by beating up on the Maryland Maniacs once again. The final score was 55-39 and was highlighted by 2 returns from DB Demarcus James. He returned the opening kickoff to the house and then returned an interception for another score later in the game. The Revs are 8-1 and one win away from clinching a playoff birth. They will play next week on the road vs Western Michigan before returning home on the 22nd.

The Richmond Kickers managed a 1-1 tie with Real Maryland Monarchs on Saturday. Matthew Delicâte tallied his 5th goal of the season, but the team could not manage to score again after Maryland tied the game at 1-1 on an own goal. The Kickers will face the Monarchs again next week in Maryland and will return to Richmond on the 21st to play the Charlotte Eagles.
