The National Weather Service is reporting a major storm headed our way on Saturday. We could see a foot of snow or more.
“The snow, mainly on Saturday, should come courtesy of a nor’easter that’s expected to move up the East Coast over the next couple of days. The speed and intensity of the storm are not yet clear.
“It could be a very big storm,“ said John Billet, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Wakefield. “We’ll have to wait and see.“
The storm should start with light rain Friday night, shifting to a rain-and-snow mix overnight. Heavy snow should fall on Saturday, probably ending by evening, the Weather Service said.”
