The Shoppes at Westgate, across from Short Pump Town Center at Broad and Lauderdale are holding a sidewalk sale through Saturday. The center, which boasts the most locally-owned shops in once shopping center in Short Pump, hosts the event annually to spotlight the stores and encourage customers to shop local.
Shops such as invitation and stationery boutique By Invitation Only, specialty dog retailer Fido Park Avenue, home accents store Tweed and childrens’ retailer Babystuff & Kids 2 are participating in the event through tomorrow. Most stores have sales and deals on sidewalk merchandise and specials on in-store items as well.
The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa at Short Pump will host the Richmond Wedding Expo on Sunday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m. Wedding vendors from across Richmond will come together to showcase everything you need for the big day from invitations and photographers to catering and reception venues. Admission is $9.00 and the hotel offers ample complimentary parking next to Short Pump Town Center.
Expect door prizes, a fashion show and a series of contests called “The Chapel Challenge,” where brides-to-be can compete in a cupcake eating, napkin folding and bouquet toss contest. More information can be found on the event website.
