The victim was driven in a private vehicle to VCU Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the upper body that authorities said did not appear to be life-threatening. Richmond police Capt. David L. Martin said officers were called to the 1900 block of North 29th Street at 9:50 p.m. after neighbors reported hearing an argument and gunfire.
