Sector 411

The RPD has released their report for Sector 411. Highlights include:

During the month of September 2009, Sector 411 experienced a decrease in major crimes (violent and property combined) by 35% as compared to Sep- tember of 2008. Property crimes decreased by 31% while violent crime was down 46%.

The 2009 third quarter ended September 30th. For the quarter, major crime was down 14%. Violent crime held steady with the same amount of crime reported compared to the third quarter in 2008. Property crime was down 19%.

Sector 412

And here is the Sector 412 report. Highlights include:

Sector 412 experienced 2 homicides that are still under investigation.
In September, officers were directed into neighborhoods and areas that experienced an increase in Burglaries. Thanks to their efforts and neighbor looking out for neighbors, Sector 412 had a 58% reduction in residential, commercial and outbuilding burglaries.
Residents of Sector 412 continued to experience a reduction in Motor Vehicle Theft and Theft from Motor Vehicles during September.
