WEAPON SEIZURE X2 – 1105 N 23RD ST. – Officers Foster and Johnson responded to the address for a B&E in progress. Upon arrival the residence was secured and searched and no one was found. The Officers noticed and SKS rifle on the bed and secured it. After Miranda Rights were read to the suspect he confessed to the possession of the weapon and to being a convicted felon. Officers also found in his vehicle in plain view another weapon, a 38 caliber Colt revolver. When they secured the pistol in the truck they also found a small quantity of marijuana. The owner of the residence, was arrested and charged with the firearms and drug charges.
