If your grandmother was hip, she’d hang out at Garnett’s Formica-topped bar, indulging in simple luncheonette pleasures. . . Garnett’s is a retro version of a sandwich lover’s dream. Forget the boring clubs and grilled-chicken sandwiches found at any other bar-type restaurant in town. This place pays homage to the eats of yore, offering its nostalgic menu in just as nostalgic environs.
