RPD nabs thieves in Fulton and near J.Sargeant Reynolds

Recent operations by the Richmond Police Department resulted in the arrests of two men and one juvenile for stealing items from motor vehicles. The juvenile, a 15-year-old male, was arrested in the Fulton Hill area and charged with three counts of grand larceny, one count of petit larceny, trespassing, obstruction of justice and tampering with an automobile.
Edgar C. Brown, 43, of the 900 block of East Marshall Street, has been charged with petit larceny. Brown was charged after officers spotted him going into unlocked cars and stealing items. Ervette L. Williams, 34, of the 3200 block of Delaware Avenue, has been charged with grand larceny. Both were arrested in the 700 block of Duval Street.
These operations will continue through out the city. The Richmond Police Department would like to remind everyone to secure their vehicles and remove any items of value.
