The man was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment of a facial laceration after the robbery try, which occurred about 8:30 p.m. […] The victim said 3-4 males confronted him and ordered him to give them his money, and when the victim told them he didn’t have any, they struck him in the face with an unknown object and ran.
