Not that we all need the reminder or that any of us will be biking the trails in the City of Richmond during a hurricane, but the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities sent a reminder today to respect the trails.
Plenty of comments to this previous article about the trails policy. Here is the reminder from the City:
It is the department’s policy to close park trails for 24 hours for every inch of rain the City receives. In the event that this occurs, signs will be posted at the trailheads.
