Public Meeting Set To Provide Information About Construction Projects At Mid-lothian Mines Park

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Chesterfield County Department of Environmental Engineering, will hold a public meeting Tuesday, July 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m., to provide information about planned construction projects at Mid-Lothian Mines Park. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of Watkins Elementary School, 501 Coalfield Road. From 6:30 until 7 p.m., attendees will be able to visit three project information areas to learn about the development activities planned at the park. These information areas will include Parks and Recreation, Environmental Engineering and Risk Management/Environmental Management. County staff in each area will provide those attending the meeting opportunities to review information and ask questions before a formal presentation begins around 7 p.m. There will be another opportunity to ask questions following the formal presentation.
