On Thursday, November 19, 2009, a popular Far West End restaurant will be doing its part to help out children suffering with cancer. Shackleford’s, in the Gleneagles shopping center off Ridgefield Parkway, will be donating 10% of all sales all day to the Tad DuPriest Foundation.

The organization will then in turn donate all proceeds to ASK, the Association for the Support of Children with Cancer. ASK provides children suffering with cancer and their families with a variety of support and resources to make their struggles a bit easier.

Shackleford’s is located at 10496 Ridgefield Parkway. The southside location in Courthouse Place at 11500 Busy Street is also participating in the event.
