Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify two men who have been stealing money from several Fan businesses during the past month.

Both men walked into several Fan restaurants and retail shops during business hours and were able to enter back rooms or management offices, steal money and leave without being noticed.

The first incident is believed to have occurred on June 4, around 10 a.m. at Mongrel, 2924 W. Cary St. The same man, pictured in the attached photo, is also believed to have stolen money from Delux restaurant on June 18, around 1 p.m.; and For the Love of Chocolate on June 22, around 4 p.m. He also tried to steal money from Star-lite Diner and other Robinson Street-area restaurants.

A second man, pictured below, tried the same theft at the Republic Bar and Restaurant on June 13 around 7 p.m.

Anyone with information about these persons or these crimes is asked to call Detective A.J. Jones at (804) 646-1067 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. You can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
