Police Investigate Death Of 2-year-old
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – On June 17 at 12:35 p.m., the Chesterfield County Police and Fire and Emergency Medical Services departments responded to the 4400 block of Mason Valley Court to investigate an unresponsive 2-year-old. The preliminary investigation revealed that the child was found in an above-ground swimming pool at the child’s residence. The child was transported to Chippenham Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The apparent cause of death was drowning. Police continue to investigate this incident.
