Police Investigate Bank Robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are searching for a man who robbed the BB&T bank branch at 5756 Hopkins Road at about 10:45 a.m. today. No one was injured during the robbery. Police said the man approached a teller, indicated he had a gun, presented a note that demanded money and fled the scene. The suspect is a white male, 25-35 years old, between 5 feet 7 inches – 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a red and blue jacket and blue and white baseball hat. The suspect has what appears to be a mark or bruise on the right cheekbone. He may be driving a red 1990s Chevy Blazer.
