Pilot Travel Center Robbery Suspects Arrested
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Three people have been arrested in connection with the April 10 robbery at Pilot Travel Center, 2126 Ruffin Mill Road. Arrested were Ryan N. Beechler, 26, of the 19700 block of Crater Road in Petersburg; Brandon D. Mayer, 21, of the 8800 block of Chester Forest Lane and an 18-year-old. All three men are charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Beechler and Mayer and are being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail pending upcoming hearings in Chesterfield County General District Court. The 18-year-old is being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. The 18-year-old suspect was a juvenile at the time of the robbery and therefore his name will not be released.
