The Patterson Market was robbed yesterday:

Richmond police Capt. Michael Zohab said the first robbery occurred at 3 p.m. at the Patterson Market, in the 3100 block of Patterson Avenue, where suspects described as a black male and a white or Hispanic male entered, brandished a gun and forced the clerk to hand over cash. The pair left on a tan or off-white-colored motor scooter, Zohab said.

A similar robbery took place later at the Cary Street Market by VCU.
