The Fan District Association Parking Committee has received a draft of proposed changes to the Fan District’s parking zones:
Should current one hour parking restrictions be extended in Zone 1 to include weekend hours (7 AM to 9 PM)? Should only Fan residents with decals (or guests with a visitor’s pass) be allowed to park on the street in Zone 1 between 4 pm and 11 pm? Should commercial parking in Zone 1 be allowed only adjacent to Lombardy Park and on W. Franklin Street with paid metered parking? Should the boundary between Zone 1 & Zone 2 be moved west from Lombardy to Vine Street? These are just a few of the changes that may soon be implemented in the Fan Restricted Parking Districts.
