The Appomattox Regional Library System (ARLS) is pleased to announce Southside Community Partners as the new name for its nonprofit resource program. This new identity aligns the group with a unified mission: Building a strong Southside community through developing and strengthening the nonprofit sector.
The announcement of our new name represents the culmination of the merger of Southside Virginia Nonprofit Resource Center, Focus INC and ConnectSouthside into a single, unified program of the ARLS; a process that began in late 2008. Consolidation of these programs allows us to more effectively and efficiently provide the tools and resources that will help us build a strong Southside community.
