The article isn’t heavy on details with the put-in and take out information, but a Lynchburg outfitter is floating its business down the James River to Richmond, according to Richmond BizSense.com.
James River Float Company, which offers guided canoe, tubing, paddle board, kayak and bateau trips on the James River, opened its second operation in Powhatan on Wednesday. The website also offers camping, fishing and boat sales.
The company has leased space in Powhatan County at the intersection of Route 522 and Route 60 for putting in and taking out the boats.
