The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is putting off for a year the opening of a new middle school at the former Benedictine College Preparatory on Sheppard Street in Richmond.
“After meeting with architects and building consultants, we have determined that there is a good deal more deferred maintenance in the facility than we first believed to be the case,” Bishop Francis X. Di Lorenzo said in a statement Wednesday.
