First Community Bank recently opened a new financial center in the Innsbrook Corporate Center, its fifth office in the Richmond metropolitan area. This particular bank is the first to boast a new, unique layout, which is much more open, modern and streamlined.

It offers a less staid atmosphere than typical financial centers. Instead of a row of teller windows, there is a “pod” or small counter where banking associates assist customers without the separation of walls or glass. This provides a more engaging customer experience.

“We are really excited about the new look of this financial center,” says Christina Clough, Financial Center Manager. “We are receiving a lot of positive feedback and I think that speaks to our customers’ desire for a different banking experience. The design provides a more open atmosphere than most banks and that makes clients and employees more at ease. ”

With ample comfy seating, flat screen TVs, intriguing art, free wireless internet access and complimentary coffee, it looks more like the kind of place you’d hang out all day with your laptop rather than where you go to make a deposit or explore financial services. Yet, that’s exactly what it is – banking associates and financial consultants are there to assist you with your every day banking needs and explore financial solutions for your needs. It’s community banking at its best.

First Community Bank offers many strong-points of a larger bank while providing the quality features of a community bank. This “personal touch” allows the bank staff to work directly with customers to find banking solutions and products to help customers meet their personal financial goals.
