Here’s info on a new exhibit opening in May at Page Bond Gallery. From the press release:

The Page Bond Gallery is pleased to present mixed media paintings by Michael Barringer and encaustic paintings by Amber George. Barringer and George decipher the residue of experience and the development of memories. Their translation of textures, objects, and imagery from past encounters are morphed from true depictions into a description recollection.

These works will be at the Page Bond Gallery, 1625 West Main Street with an opening reception honoring the artists, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM. The exhibition will remain on view through Saturday, May 29, 2010.
