Henrico’s only permanent Farmers’ Market is adding new venues to improve the market experience. Henrico County has approved a rezoning request and is now allowing local artists who produce their own hand made items to display their wares at the Market. In addition live musicians are now allowed to perform during the Market.
The Market is also now allowed to operate from April through December, and open up to 4 days a week during peak season May – August. Added Market times will only be instituted if there is ample supply fom the vendors and customer demand.
Lakeside Farmers’ Market is currently reviewing applications for Market vendors including artists. Visit the Lakeside Farmers’ Market every Wednesday from 8 AM – noon and from 3 pm – 7 pm. Some vendors do stay for the day. The Market is also open every Saturday from 8 AM – noon.
