A new country store, gas station and car wash is under construction along Pouncey Tract Road. AW Shucks Country Store will feature a Shell fueling station and restaurant when it opens in July at 6100 Pouncey Tract Road, between the Wyndham subdivision and Hylas.
The store will be situated just over the Henrico County line in Goochland.
AW Shucks will be the only gas station between Hanover county and the Fas Mart in Short Pump when it opens in July. The store has a variety of employment opportunities and those interested can contact Duncan VanNess at 804-565-5681.
