Some good words from the Church Hill Crime Watch:
Thanks to a vigilant neighbor in the 200 block of N 28th St., a male was arrested for breaking into a shed on Tuesday, November 30th at 1:32 PM. The crime watcher notified police that they observed a male go into a garage in the 2700 block of E Broad St. and remove items. Several officers responded and arrived approximately one minute later and stopped the suspect. The owner of the garage identified the property that the suspect had in his shopping cart and he was arrested.
This is what crime watch is all about. Neighbors watching out for each other. Many thanks for this one, however, we have more to go. Do not let your guard down, we have someone who is using a vehicle and more using carts. Be Aware and be safe. What a great neighborhood….and how about those cops?
