Motor Scooter Fatality
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed the operator of a motor scooter and critically injured the passenger of the scooter. The crash occurred in the 11200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 2:49 a.m. today. Police said Frederick Scott Wall, 46, of the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, was killed when his 2006 Qinqi motor scooter was struck head on by a 2003 Toyota Celica GT traveling southbound in the northbound lane of Jefferson Davis Highway. The passenger of the motor scooter was transported to VCU Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver of the 2003 Toyota Celica GT was also transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police continue their investigation into this crash.
