The Richmond Free Press is reporting that “Henrico Delegate Joseph D. “Joe” Morrissey, D-74th, is considering challenging the veteran Richmond senator in a Democratic Party primary, set for Aug. 23” for the 16th Senate District seat held by Marsh for 2 decades.
Preston Brown announced earlier that he will be seeking the seat in the general election in the fall as an independent candidate.
