Governor Bob McDonnell has joined Connecticut’s Governor Malloy in calling for a moment of silence today at 9:30 a.m. to commemorate the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. According to the governor’s proclamation, the bell in the Capitol Bell Tower in Capital Square will toll 26 times at 9:30 a.m.
