Tonight, Sunday, September 15th, the Fan District Association will sponsor its last planned concert of the year. From 5-7PM Martha and Triple Threat, formerly known as The Blues Cats, will capture a soulful blues sound while mixing in wild, rockin’ country and bringing down the house with big rock sounds. The group brings a rich history of regional experience embraced by clubs, festivals, and loyal followers in the area. Martha and Triple Threat has opened for national acts such as Three Dog Night, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Ruth Brown, BTO, The Smithereens, Room Full of Blues, and Debbie Davies.
The FDA will be giving away ice cream for the occasion, and a food truck from Carytown Burgers and Fries is expected as well.
