Man Arrested For Rape

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have arrested a man in connection with a rape that occurred in the Roxbury Square apartment complex on Nov. 14, 2008. Oscar A. Rivera-Licona, 34, of the 2100 block of East Treemont Court in Richmond, is accused of raping a woman. Police said the suspect approached the victim as she exited her vehicle, displayed a gun and forced the victim into a wooded area behind the complex. Rivera-Licona is charged with rape, abduction and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held without bond in the Richmond City Jail pending an upcoming hearing in the Chesterfield County General District Court. Police continue to investigate two other incidents in which women were attacked on Dec. 17, 2008 and Feb. 13.
