Lombardy and Paradise Parks:
The Trees Are Coming,
Parks May Be Closed for Work 11/15

Lombardy Park lost its signature tree this year, and Paradise Park lost the Paradise tree last year. Through the efforts of neighbors and the Fan District Association, special funds were raised to replace these special trees. Replacement of the trees is now scheduled for Friday, November 15th, and during the tree plantings the parks will be shut down temporarily, at some time between 9 AM and 4 PM. There will be a small ribbon-cutting ceremony in the near future, after the trees are in place.
