On Saturday December 12th, The West End Farmers Market is planning to give back to the men and women of the armed forces with Christmas trees for the holiday season. “It is with our deepest gratitude and appreciation for their service and sacrifice that we are offering each [military] family a Christmas tree for just $25,” said market owner Kris Riley.

The offer is extended to the families of any branch of the military and is also valid for any U.S. veteran.

In keeping with the mission of the West End Farmers Market, which sells only Virginia raised farm products, all the trees are Virginia Grown Fraser Firs provided by a farm in the mountain region. The trees are all freshly cut and range in size from five to nine feet. Each family will be able to select their own tree.

The event takes place on Saturday, December 12 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at the West End Farmers Market located at 12470 Gayton Road, at its intersection with Ridgefield Parkway.
