If you’ve ever wanted to learn to draw, Monday night is your chance. Local artist Paul Steinberg is hosting an ongoing drawing class at Daily Grind Coffee House & Cafe beginning this Monday evening. “If you can sign your name on a piece of paper, you can learn to draw,” Steinberg said.

Steinberg has been perfecting his craft for over four decades and focuses on oil paintings. He’s done numerous portraits, as well as cityscapes around Richmond, Fredericksburg and Washington, D.C. He’s also completed a series of paintings right here in the Far West End featuring the coy pond at Short Pump Town Center.

The drawing class is limited to the first 10 students to sign up in order to give each participant individual attention. The fee is $20.

Participants will need an 11” x 14” sketchbook and set of 12 drawing pencils. As Steinberg alluded to, anyone is encouraged to sign up, regardless of skill or past experience.

The classes will be ongoing on Monday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

For more information, you can contact Paul Steinberg via email.
