It’s been an exciting time for Lakeside and the Garden as we’ve seen
many positive changes recently. One result is increased visitation to
the Garden and the need for a larger and more direct main pathway
inside the Garden. Improvements to this pathway include a new bridge
spanning the lake on our property (near the Children’s Garden).

There will be some noise associated with pile-driving for the bridge
during the following time frame:

  • August 18 – September 11
  • Mondays through Thursdays
  • 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Please know that we are doing all we can to complete this project as
quickly and safely as possible. The plan is for the new bridge to be
completed in time to be featured in this year’s GardenFest of Lights
which begins November 27.
