It has been more than a year since the Bike, Pedestrian and Trails workgroup at The Carillon in late September 2010 and Richmond has come a long way in declaring it’s ready to be a bike-friendly town.
Of course, the City of Richmond was awarded the 2015 Road World Cycling Championships, we’re on the verge of 80 miles of sharrows in Richmond, we’ve had Jakob Helmboldt hired as Richmond’s first Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Coordinator and many other positive steps along the way. What do you consider the biggest accomplishments, what should be the biggest priorities and do you think Richmond can pull this off?
