For two years in a row, an Innsbrook firm has been named the best architectural and engineering firm to work for by leading industry publication ZweigWhite. Hankins and Anderson, Inc. took home top honors nationwide in 2009 and now 2010 as well.

The category was introduced just last year and H&A has taken the top honor both times. The ranking is based on top workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates and an independent staff survey.

“While management does what it can to facilitate a good working environment, at the end of the day, it’s all of the staff that really make it that way,” said H&A President and CEO Mike Matthews, PE.

“In addition to the Best Firms To Work For award, we won first place awards for Recruiting and Retention and for Best Employee Recognition Program,” he continued.

“We are a team that celebrates the good times and push to work through the seemingly stressful ones,” said Human Resources Manager Patti Beasley. “H&A Architects & Engineers provides the foundation to enhance our culture, whether it be health insurance, recognition programs, or employee events. Leadership listens and demonstrates concern by supporting those programs that are meaningful to all.”
