During the month of November, Images will be collecting food to be donated to the Ginter Park United Methodist Food Pantry. This program is part of the Northside Food Pantry Consortium and is a USDA program which relies on the Central Virginia Food Bank and Feedmore for the bulk of the food that is distributed.
With the continuing fallout of a slow economy, and recent food stamp cuts, the number of persons being served through this program has doubled in the past weeks. The pantry is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Please bring non-perishable food items to the salon and help us help others. (Pet food is also accepted.)
Tuesday thru Friday, 9am to 8pm
Saturday, 9am to 5pm.We’ll give you a $1 discount for each pound of food you donate.
