This 1956 Cadillac Sedan De Ville was near Carytown. A little digging on Wikipedia tells a number of things: The gold trim of the badge was an option, one that would be echoed much later in the 1990s by Japanese car makers. The Sedan De Ville was the first production sedan to come out of Cadillac, and in 1956, they sold something like 67,000 of these.

This probably pilots like a boat or a living room on wheels but I’ll bet it’s super safe.
