I love going to the river when the water is low and slow, especially with my kids. It is a great place to explore. How do enjoy the river when water levels are below 3.5 feet?

The water is clear, there are plenty of rocks to hike on and I think the river gets more interesting as it becomes so easy to find little brooks that form between the granite rocks and shallow pools of water all through the river.  Where do you go, what do you do?
