Police want to know who made their way into a home in the Museum District and robbed two men at gunpoint. It happened just before 1 Monday morning. The crime alert finds leaders with the Museum District’s Neighborhood Association speaking out.

If there’s any place you expect to feel safe it should be inside of your own home but that wasn’t the case over night when police say a group of men made their way inside of a home and robbed the victims at gunpoint.

It’s not the kind of news neighbors here are used to hearing.

“We don’t see very many crimes at all in the Museum District,” said Zoe Ann Green with the Museum District Association.

Police say it happened on the 2800 block of West Grace. Several armed men made their way into a home — making off with guns, cash, and electronics belonging to two men inside. The victims told police, they don’t know the robbers.

The suspects had on gray hoodies, black sweat pants and bandanas covering their faces. No one was hurt during this incident. Although the victims told police they don’t know who the suspects are, investigators could not confirm this incident was random.
