Pocahontas Middle School Principal Kim Sigler is coming together with Henrico County Schools Superintendent Dr. Pat Ruso to play some ball for a good cause at the First Annual Pocahontas Middle School Teacher/Student Softball Game.
During the pre-game, Sigler will throw fastballs to the slugger, Superintendent Dr. Pat Russo. Students can donate $5 to go to bat against their principal. All Pocahontas students are invited to play in the actual teacher/student game.
There will be prizes and refreshments for sale. All proceeds will benefit the new Challenger Field at the Tuckahoe Little League, an organization that allows youth with disabilities participate in sports.
