Henrico Police need the public’s assistance in apprehending the subject responsible for robbing the BB&T Bank at Short Pump Town Center. On Monday, November 15 at approximately 4:00 pm, the  suspect entered the bank and stopped at the island in front of the teller station to write a note before approaching the teller.

The teller complied with demands by giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen running south across West Broad Street past the Bank of America in the Shoppes at Westgate.

The suspect described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 6’0”, 170-180 lbs.  Police say he had short black hair, was clean shaven and of light complexion, possibly with a tattoo on his left forearm.

He was last seen wearing a wearing a wide horizontal striped collared shirt and jeans with a red stripe.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or Henrico Police at 501-5000.
