A Henrico County Police officer was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol early Sunday morning. 35-year-old Jeffrey T. Seal was taken into custody around 4:45 a.m. after it was determined he was over the legal limit.

Seal was arrested on Interstate 64 eastbound between Gaskins and Parham roads and has been removed from duty, pending a personnel investigation, according to Lieutenant Eric D. Owens of the Henrico Police department. He will be arraigned in court on Monday.

This is the second case of a current or former Henrico officer being arrested for DUI in one month. A retired Henrico County police officer was also charged with driving under the influence back on July 1 when his vehicle veered off  Interstate 295 into reflective barricades and struck a Virginia Department of Transportation contractor.
