Pets are in for a treat if they are headed down to the old Dogma Grooming store at 3402 W. Cary Street in the coming months.  Rather than getting a new hair do or a fancy manicure, they could be in for the change of lifetime.  Dr. Lori Pasternak and Surgical Technician, Jacqueline Morasco are soon to open a low cost alternative for pet owners who don’t have the resources to pay for much needed and often expensive medical procedures. The store, Helping Hands, will offer a range of services under a thousand dollars, with most procedures averaging about one to seven hundred (You can check out a full listing here).

For those who are still unable to afford the needed medical procedures for their pets, Pasternak will be setting up a charitable fund to offset the cost of the procedures. Additionally, she plans to allow people to perform community service hours in exchange for needed surgeries.
