via Shockoe Hill Cemetery: Today we were able to unite Frank Gianinni of Tidewater with his great-great-great-grandfather,? Mariano Gianinni (we believe the last name was misspelled on the marker). Mariano was one of the early Italian immigrants to America (from Lucca), and set himself up in Richmond as a grocer. He died in December 1863.
