Without much fanfare, without a proper sign, and amidst a snowstorm, Basili’s Greek Restaurant opened in the old Carytown Seafood Shop. Without much fanfare, without a proper sign, and amidst a snowstorm, Basili’s Greek Restaurant opened in the old Carytown Seafood Shop.
They feature gyros. souvlaki, salads, sandwiches as well as some other traditional Greek staples.
The food seems to be reasonably priced. My visit included a pork souvlaki and a Greek salad. Both were good.
Let’s go and support this local business as they try to get their feet off the ground.
