The Richmond Folk Festival isn’t far down the road, and that great event needs to have one of its key venues cleaned of as much trash as we can find.

Volunteer with the James River Association:

Saturday, September 17th 9:30 am to noon – Trash Cleanup at Brown’s Island, Richmond
We will be picking up trash on Brown’s Island and the surrounding area. Trash bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Meet at the pedestrian/vehicle bridge across from the American Civil War Center at Tredegar just west of 5th street. If you are interested please contact Amber Ellis at (804) 788-8811 ext 205 or volunteer@jrava.org.
