What are you doing Saturday morning? Likely what ever it is, it can’t be better than the “Frog’s Eye Tour of the River!”

See what the frogs during a tour with James River Park manager and naturalist Ralph White. The event is perfect for young children. Check out what’s going on in small pools near the river. Wear comfortable clothes and river shoes or sandles to help yourself have the most fun. There will be a small amount of hiking to get out to the best rocks and frog holes. Also, bring water and wear sunscreen.

Meet at 10 a.m. at the visitor’s center of the James River Park in the Main Area, past the parking lot for Reedy Creek.  Parking is available at Reedy Creek, at the 22nd Street lot and the 42nd Street lot. The cost is $5, please call 646-8911 for more information.

NOTE: This event will likely be very popular, so please be prepared for a crowd.  I plan to volunteer to help Ralph White, so I hope to see you there.
