The Friends of the James River Parkwill have its monthly meeting Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Taza Coffee N Creams and there is plenty of activity on the James to plan for this summer.
Nathan Burrell, trails manager for the City of Richmond and Greg Rollins, president of Richmond MORE, will attend to talk about the proposed bike park on Belle Isle. In addition to many other James-related items, the group plans to discuss the possibility of “2 the River N Back Bus,” a plan to have the good people behind the Tothe Bottom and Back bus service help shuttle rivergoers on weekends in the James River Park.
Taza Coffee N Creams is located at 5042 Forest Hill Avenue just west of Westover Hills Boulevard. Join us! The group is always looking for more members and people dedicated to making the James River Park a better place for everyone.
